James R. "Jim" Pasky, age 73, of Michigan City, Indiana, beloved brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, great-uncle, and friend, passed away on January 22, 2020 in Bandera, Texas. He was born December 22, 1946 in La Porte, Indiana to James Henry Pasky and Audrey Nadine (Parker) Pasky. \r\n\r\nShortly after graduating Elston High School in 1965, Jim joined the United States Air Force as an Aircraft Maintenance Specialist and was a Vietnam Veteran. Jim retired after 45 years working at the Port of Indiana as a member of the International Longshoremens' Association Local 1969. \r\n\r\nHe loved to travel and loved his family deeply. \r\n\r\nHe is preceded in death by his father, Henry James Pasky; mother, Audrey Nadine Pasky; and brother-in-law, David Legner. \r\n\r\nHe is survived by his son, Russell Wells (Shaylyn Wells); his daughter, Michelle Pasky-Forgacic (Joseph Ferraioli); his brothers, Steve (Jill) Pasky, Michael (Kathy) Pasky; his sisters, Renee (Robert) Wyle, Toni (David) Legner; his grandchildren, Corey Salazar, Richard Forgacic, Jr., Destiny Gelet, and Kaylee Gelet; his great-grandchildren, Liliana and Gianna Salazar; his nephews and nieces, Daniel Pasky, Allison Pasky Mirabito, Jonathan and Stephanie Pasky, Anthony, Jamie, and Angela Norman, Ryan and Ivy Legner. \r\n\r\n
