James Holland

James W. Holland of Mountain Home, TX, was pronounced dead in his home on March 17, 2019, a few days before his 78th birthday.\r\n\r\nHis loving family were Verna A., his wife of 57 years; daughter, Genise Rae Reneau of Waxahachie; grandson, Joshua Jacob Montoya and his wife, Aileen Alexandra; and great-grandchildren, Louis Miguel Gazzia, Isaac Andres Gazzia, Layla Annabelle Gazzia, Alexia Jade and Joshua Jacob Montoya II of Forney, TX.\r\n\r\nJim was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Woodrow and Mary M. Holland; and his brother, Kenneth. \r\n\r\nJim enjoyed hunting and fishing, cards and table games, joking and laughter, and had a long history of amateur radio (WB5CHW) making friends around the globe. A special place in his heart was the brotherhood of the Masonic Lodge of Kerrville.\r\n\r\nServices will be held April 8, 10:00 AM at Grimes Funeral Chapels, Kerrville, and burial of his ashes at 1:00 PM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio.
