James Fiedler

James Fiedler, 64 of Center Point, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Fredericksburg, Texas to Lionel and Anita Fiedler on December 21, 1950. He married Katie Lackey on June 21, 1980 in Camp Verde.\r\n \r\nJames graduated from Fredericksburg High School. He worked several years as maintenance for the Cedar Mill and then park maintenance for the City of Kerrville for many years.\r\n \r\nJames is preceded in death by his father, mother, his sisters, Jeannette, Mary Ann, and his brothers, Calvin and Curtis. \r\n \r\n He is survived by his wife, Katie Fiedler; his children, Michelle Botkin (Ty), Stephanie Griffin (Byron), Siddiq Frazier, Beeba Harris (Paul), Athena Fiedler, Ali Frazier, Jeannette "Cissy" Fiedler, Shelby Fiedler (Demetris), Riad Frazier, Christopher Frazier, Kaitlyn Fiedler, Symone Fiedler, Aeliyah Fiedler, Joel Fiedler, Amya Fiedler and Avery Fiedler; his brother, Kermit Fiedler; sister, Shirley Aguilar; his mother-in-law, Betty Lackey; 12 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; his special children, Clay and Riley Hotchkiss; and many foster children over many years. \r\n \r\nVisitation will be held Friday, June 26, 2015, 5-7 PM at Grimes Funeral Chapels.\r\n \r\nServices will be held Saturday, June 27, 2015, 10 AM at Grimes Funeral Chapels officiated by Mr. Allen Kaiser.\r\n \r\nMemorials may be given to the Center Point Methodist Church Building Fund, Center Point Alliance for Progress, or a charity of one's choice.\r\n \r\nThe family of James Fiedler wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Rebecca Barrington, M'liss and Cody at ACC IV therapy, Lauren Perez, Harley and staff at Peterson Hospice, and the Center Point community for their prayers and thoughts through this illness.\r\n\r\n[contact-form-7 id="73" title="Send Condolences"]\r\n
