Franklin Willis "Jack" Moseley of Vero Beach, FL, peacefully passed away March 24, 2019. He was born in Miami, FL in 1930 to parents, Minven Upton Moseley and Lillian Lucille Nichols Moseley. \r\n\r\nJack was preceded in death by his parents, Minven Upton Moseley and Lillian Lucille Nichols Moseley; sister, Joy Anita Moseley and loving wife, Alice Ann Foster Moseley. \r\n\r\nThose left to cherish his memory include his wife, Fay Arron Moseley of Vero Beach, FL; brother, Dale Upton Moseley and wife, Betty Ann Moseley of Miami, FL; son, Jack Upton Moseley and wife, Susan Perry Moseley; daughters, Judith Ann Moseley Whitehead and husband, Chuck Whitehead, Joy Elizabeth Ross and husband, Michael Ross and son, James Jeffery Moseley, all of Bandera; grandchildren, Chad Moseley and wife, Renee of Bandera, Clint Moseley and wife, Jennifer of Katy, TX, Trey D'Spain and wife, Stephanie of Bandera, Travis D'Spain of Bandera, Jacob Ross of Bandera, Ann Ross Hainline and husband, Jason of Haines, AK, Shelley Ross Ruiz and husband, Dominic of Bandera and Rebekah Ross of San Diego, CA; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.\r\n\r\nJack and Ann moved to the family ranch in 1950. They loved the Hill Country and ranch life. In 1954, they moved back to Florida to help his mother, Lillian, with the family business. In 1963, they moved back to the ranch to raise their four children with country way of life and values. All four children attended Bandera public schools. During this time, Jack and Ann owned and operated Bandera Mercantile, later know as Hillcrafters Furniture. Jack was very involved in the community. He was President of the Chamber of Commerce and Lions Club, and was very involved with the youth in 4-H and Rodeo clubs. They were members of the Bandera Methodist Church. In 1969, they moved back to Florida to help run the family business, Flamingo Oil Company, alongside his mother, Lillian, and his brother, Dale, until his retirement in 2006. After he retired, he and his wife, Fay, built a lovely home on the ranch. While keeping their home in Florida, they came back to the ranch several times a year and enjoyed visiting with family and friends. They were members of Flying L Chapel and Lakehills Baptist Church.\r\n\r\nGraveside services will be held at Bandera Cemetery at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 6, 2019. Following the service, a celebration of life will be held at Mansfield Park (front pavilion).
