John Marion "Jack" Eaton, 79, of Kerrville, passed away at Peterson Regional Medical Center on June 10, 2015. Jack was born in Ft. Worth, Texas to Clarence Edward and Kathryn Iona Steddman Eaton on March 26, 1936. He married Patricia Anne Truly Scott on July 4, 1995 in Las Vegas, NV.\r\n \r\nJack grew up in Brownwood, Texas, graduated from Brownwood High, and attended 1 year at the University of Texas in Austin. He worked as a salesman, being self employed for most of his life. Jack was very involved in "Friends of Bill W" for 38 years, attaining his goal of being sober for 38 years.\r\n \r\nJack, as a young man, loved shooting skeet, winning 4 championships and 3 runners up. He also loved to play golf, winning several tournaments. He lost his eyesight and was unable to continue in these pursuits.\r\n \r\nJack and Pat moved to Kerrville 10 years ago.\r\n \r\nHe is preceded in death by his parents; and an infant son, Jack Andrew.\r\n \r\nJack is survived by his wife, Pat; five daughters, Kelley Morgan, Delinda Seewald, Sherrie McBride, Deborah Hill and Katie Dikitolia.\r\n \r\nA memorial service to celebrate Jack's life will be at 12 Noon on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at 2211 Bandera Hwy. in Kerrville.
