Jack Crain Sr. of Santa Fe, Texas, passed away on June 17, 2016. He was born January 24, 1929 in Denoya, Oklahoma to Fred and Nora Crain.\r\n\r\nAfter high school, Jack enlisted in the United States Army and served in the Korean War. After his honorable discharge from the Army, he gained employment with Phillips Petroleum Co. where he retired in 1984 after 33 years.\r\n\r\nJack is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Nora Crain; and numerous brothers and sisters.\r\n\r\nSurvivors include his sons, Jack Crain Jr, and wife, Yvonne Crain of Santa Fe, TX, Jay Crain and his wife, Mary Crain of Mobile AL; daughter, Janna Crain of San Leon, TX; his brother, Dean Crain of Shidler, OK; granddaughter, Stephanie Echols; and great-grandaughter, Colbie Lynn. \r\n\r\nThere was a visitation on Monday, June 20, 2016 from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm at Hayes Funeral Home in Santa Fe, TX. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Kerrville, TX.
