Homero Lopez Calderon, 70, of Kerrville, snuck out to be with the Lord on December 11, 2015 in San Antonio, surrounded by loving children.\r\n\r\nHe was born in Kerrville, Texas to Jesus and Ramona Calderon on December 24, 1944. \r\n\r\nHomero is preceded in death by his parents Jesus and Ramona Calderon, brothers Alfonso (Poncho), Jasper (Pieto), Jesus (Chuyto) Calderon and sisters; Rita Campos and Anita Lara.\r\n\r\nHomero is survived by ex-wife and life long friend, Lisa Calderon and their 7 children: Mando Calderon (Elizabeth) of Kerrville, Oscar Calderon (Delfina) of Kyle, Texas, Olivia Calderon, Homer Calderon, Yolanda Gorham (Chris) all of San Antonio; Katrina Dry (Curtis) and Pete Calderon (Amanda) both of Kerrville. He is also survived by his brother Eloy Calderon (Estella), sisters Minerva Barron and Angie Torres, all of Kerrville; 15 Grandchildren: Stephanie Stewart, Antonio Calderon, Cruise Calderon, Alicia Resendez, Alex Martinez, Albert Fuentes, Marques and Maurice Johnson, Christian, Elijah and Solaya Gorham, Victoria, Demitri and Diego Dry and Joaquin Calderon; and 5 great-Grandchildren: Quatro and Alexandra Stewart, Ella and Gabriel Resendez and Somaya Johnson.\r\n\r\nRosary will be recited at 6PM on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville.\r\nFuneral Mass will be held at 1:30PM on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Notre Dame Catholic Church with the Monsignor Mike Boulette officiating. Burial will follow at Guadalupe Cemetery.\r\n\r\nIn lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Notre Dame Catholic School.\r\n\r\n"Eternal rest grant unto him oh Lord and let the perpetual light shine upon him.
