Henry Lara Delosantos, 65, of Kerrville, went home to the Lord on Tuesday, December 23, 2014, surrounded by his family, at his home in Kerrville. He was born in Kerrville to Soleda L. De Los Santos and Modesto Gonzales De Los Santos on November 4, 1949. Henry shared his life, with his wife Rosie, for 31 years.\r\n\r\nHe attended Kerrville Tivy High School and graduated in 1968. Henry served in the U.S. Navy from 1969 to 1972, and was a Vietnam Veteran. His awards and decorations include the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with one Bronze Star, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal with Device and the Navy Unit Commendation. Upon his discharge from the Navy, Henry established Commercial Maintenance cleaning company in 1976 that he owned and operated for 38 years. Henry dedicated his life to his work, and was well known in the community. When he wasn't working, Henry enjoyed hosting family members at this home, barbequing, listening to oldies rock, and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, to whom he referred to as his, "best friends". He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and will be remembered for his kind and generous nature. \r\n\r\nHenry is preceded in death by his parents Soleda and Modesto De Los Santos, and Aunt Carmen Lara Lyons. \r\n\r\nHe is survived by his wife, Rosie; son, Jeffrey Delosantos and wife Amber of Denton, Tx; and daughters, Carol Stegall and husband Milton of North Richland Hills, Tx, Gina M. Rosales of Kerrville, and Crystal Carberry and husband Argot of Colorado Springs, Co. Brothers, Modesto De Los Santos and wife Emma, Richard De Los Santos and wife Marcella; and sisters Mary Christine Malek and husband Fred, and Barbara Davila and husband Gilbert. Henry also had eight grandchildren and one great-grandson. \r\n\r\nA memorial service will be held on Friday, January 2, 2015 at Notre Dame Catholic Church in Kerrville. A recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 12:30 PM with Mass immediately following at 1:00 PM. \r\n\r\nIn lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ave Maria Hospice or Notre Dame Catholic Church.\r\n\r\nHenry's family wishes to extend our sincerest thanks to Ave Maria Hospice and especially Tom and Delores. \r\n\r\n[contact-form-7 id="73" title="Send Condolences"]
