Helen Morris Young Cuyler of La Vernia, TX went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 1 2017. Helen was born in Beeville, TX to Bennett and Lolita Morris on January 29th 1947. She married Wayne Young in 1967 in Beeville, TX where they raised four wonderful children. She later married Stan Cuyler on July 3rd 2003 in Napa, CA. \r\nHelen grew up in Tuleta, TX until High Scholl when her family moved to Houston, TX where she graduated from Jesse Jones High School. Helen moved back to Beeville the day after she graduated. For many years Helen worked for Dr. John Reagan until his retirement. She then worked for Sendero Chevrolet in their warranty department for several years before moving to Kerrville to be a Medical Billing Specialist for Casey & Casey. \r\n\r\nHelen is preceded in death by her parents Bennett and Lolita Morris and her sister Susie Craig. \r\n\r\nShe is survived by her first husband Wayne Young of Mathis, TX and her current husband Stan Cuyler: Children: Stephany Martens and her husband Joel, Ronnie Young and his wife Michelle, Shannon Rogers and her husband Ed (deceased) and Kimberly Denson and her husband John. One sibling, Carole Morris Cole and her husband Paul. Grand children Isaac Taylor, Sarah Taylor, Helena Adams and her husband Destri, Ava Young, Dylan Young, Kasey Phipps, Tyler Phipps, Madison Denson and Carolyn Denson. Great Grand Children: Emma, Ethan and Landon Adams. She is also survived by her brother in law Rick Craig, sister in law Lindy Blankenship, nieces Laura Moore and Lacey Juroske, niece Ashley Peters and nephew Johnny Craig. \r\n\r\nA graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday October 5, 2017 at the Tarpley Cemetery on Hwy 462 in Tarpley, Texas with Josh Walters of the First Baptist Church of La Vernia officiating. \r\n\r\nIn lieu of flowers donations may be made to The START Center for Cancer Care in San Antonio, TX or MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX.
