Heather K. Brandenburg, 33 of San Angelo, passed away on Tuesday April 23, 2019, in Kerrville. She was born May 6, 1985 at Sid Peterson Hospital in Kerrville to Gary and Ryanna (Thompson) Brandenburg.\r\n\r\nShe graduated from Ingram Tom Moore High School, after which she worked at Kerrville Veterinary Clinic for some time before moving to San Angelo to be near her sister, Jenifer. She loved spending time outdoors with her dogs, Duchess and Sadie, as well as camping, swimming, boating, fishing and tubing with her Uncles Curtis and Aaron at Lakes Buchanan and LBJ. Family gatherings, backyard barbecues, and hiking in the beautiful Hill Country were her favorite activities. She also enjoyed a wonderful cruise to Alaska with Granny, an exciting West Texas road trip with her Dad to the Ft. Davis McDonald Observatory, as well as a recent trip to Colorado with her boyfriend, Ryan. \r\n\r\nShe was preceded in death by Grandparents T.E. (Gene) Thompson, and Max and Genesee Brandenburg.\r\n\r\nHeather is survived by her parents, Gary Brandenburg and Ryanna Thompson and grandmother, Dorina Thompson of Kerrville, sister, Jenifer Brandenburg (Gabriel Vigil) and niece, Madison Vigil of San Angelo, aunts and uncles, Aaron Thompson (Linda Kneese) and Curtis and Brenda Thompson of Kerrville, Tracy and Lisa Mills of Austin and Kent and Terri Maulding of Paxton, IL, as well as her 12 cousins. Other survivors who were dearest to her include Ryan Stevens and Brandon Hulme, both of San Angelo.\r\n\r\nMemorial services will be held at 2 PM, Saturday May 4th at the Dietert Center in Kerrville, with Worship Pastor Toby Baxley KBC presiding. Cremains will reside in the Hill Country, which she loved so dearly. \r\n\r\nThe family requests that any memorial donations be made to a local Humane Society or to an animal shelter of one's choice.\r\n\r\n\r\n
