Harry Tondre

Harry (Happy) Charles Tondre Sr, 73, of Bandera, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at his residence surrounded by family. He was born in San Antonio, Texas to Nicholas and Hertha Tondre on February 25, 1941.\r\n\r\nHe Married Joyce Tondre on October, 12 1963 in San Antonio, Texas.\r\n\r\nHarry is preceded in death by his parents Nicholas and Hertha Tondre; neice Janet Hinton and Harry Hinton.\r\n\r\nHarry is survived by his wife of 51 years, Joyce Tondre, 4 children Laura Cardenaz and husband Larry of Cache, Oklahoma; Michelle Cummings and husband Brad of Bandera; Chuck Tondre and Leela of Bandera; Chad Tondre of Bandera. He is survived by four sisters, Gladys Clark and husband Charles of Castroville; Darlene Glover and husband Kelly of San Antonio; Marjorie Wagner and husband Bill of Mico and Patricia Richards and husband Rich of San Antonio; 4 brothers, John Tondre and wife Marge of San Antonio; Frank Tondre and Terry of San Antonio; James Tondre and wife Nanette of San Antonio, and Gary and wife Dixie of Walters, Oklahoma. Harry also has 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren that he absolutely adored.\r\n\r\nVisitation will be 7pm-9pm, Friday, December 19, 2014 at Grimes Funeral Chapels of Bandera.\r\n\r\nFuneral services will be held at 10 am, Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Grimes Funeral Chapels of Bandera, Pastor Russ Lambert officiating. Burial will follow at Bandera Cemetery.\r\n\r\nPallbearers will be Jesse Cardenaz, Charles Tondre, Allan Cardenaz, Larry Cardenaz, James Carnes Jr, Brad Cummings Sr, Brad Cummings Jr and Kelly Glover.\r\n\r\nThe Tondre family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Jaafar, the staff at Bandera Family Practice and River Side Hospice.\r\n\r\n[contact-form-7 id="73" title="Send Condolences"]
