Harold Bryant, age 77 of Kerrville, TX, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2015 in a San Antonio hospital. He had been diagnosed with Guillain Barre Syndrome. He was born March 17, 1938 to Charles Bryant and Sherron Bryant in Thornwood, WV.\r\n \r\nHarold served on the Ohio State Highway Patrol for three years. He then purchased a Chrysler Plymouth Dealership which he operated for nine years with his brother, Charles.\r\n \r\nIn 1974, he found the beautiful Hill Country where he owned and operated Bryant Motors for twenty eight years.\r\n \r\nHe was a member of the Masonic Lodge, the Hill Country Shrine Club and Alzafar Shrine Club in San Antonio, TX.\r\n \r\nHe was preceded in death by his mother, Sherron Waybright of Elkins, WV and brother, Richard Bryant of Madison, NC. \r\n \r\nHe is survived by wife of 59 years, Hope Bolton Bryant; daughter, Dana Foster and husband, Bryon of Kerrville, TX; son, Michael and wife, Cindy of San Antonio, TX; granddaughter, Kristi Grider and husband, Joshua of New Braunfels, TX, Staci Foster of Austin, TX and Molly Bryant of San Antonio, TX; two great grandsons, Joshua and Evan Grider of New Braunfels, TX; step-father, Delbert Waybright of Elkins, WV; and many other nieces and nephews.\r\n \r\nMemorial services will be held Thursday, May 7, 2015, 6 PM at Grimes Funeral Chapels officiated by Pastor Arlie Lammers.
