Gordon Gooding

Gordon Winston Gooding, 87, born August 13, 1928 in Waskom, TX, passed away on April 2, 2016 in McKinney, TX. \r\n\r\nGordon, a longtime resident of Houston, retired after many years in the oil and gas industry to a relaxing life in Kerrville and has resided the last three years in McKinney. \r\n\r\nGordon was a longtime member and past President of River Hill Country Club in Kerrville. \r\n\r\nHe is survived by his wife of 65 years, Pat, and children and spouses, Mike Gooding of Houston, Linda Gooding and E.V. Shipley of Plano, and David Gooding and Edward McCartney of Houston. \r\n\r\nGordon suffered from Alzheimer's for the last ten years. \r\n\r\nIn lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in his memory to the Hosanna Lutheran Church of Kerrville, TX or the Alzheimer's Association. \r\n\r\nA private family service will be held at a later date.
