Golda "Fae" Carlisle, age 82, of Kerrville, passed away, Friday, June 5, 2015 in Corpus Christi. She was born on May 1, 1933 in Kerr County to Calvin and Florine Young Pearson. On July 22, 1956, she married Jack Carlisle. \r\n\r\nFae attended Texas A&I in Kingsville, receiving her Bachelor's Degree in Education. She taught school in Premont, then moved with her husband and children to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, as her husband worked with Exxon. After their return back to the United States, she went back to teaching school, and taught Special Education for the Corpus Christi School District, finishing her career teaching Junior High in Odom. After their retirement, they moved back to Kerrville. She owned and operated a dress shop, Lynn's Treasure Chest, in Kerrville. \r\n\r\nFae is survived by her daughter, Linda Havner of San Antonio; son, Jack Carlisle and wife Liza of Corpus Christi; 1 brother; 5 grandchildren, Bridgett Boeye, Christopher Carlisle, Clinton Carlisle, Robert Havner III and Rebekah Havner; and 3 great-grandchildren, Braden Williams, Sydney Massey and Jay Hale. \r\n\r\nShe was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Jack Carlisle, Sr., and her parents, Calvin and Florine Pearson. \r\n\r\nFuneral services will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 1 PM at Grimes Funeral Chapels.
