Glynda Carmichael Prinz, of Kerrville, Texas passed away on March 22, 2019 at the age of 78. She was surrounded by her immediate family. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at First Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Rob Lohmeyer will be officiating.\r\n\r\nGlynda was born in Brownwood, Texas on February 14, 1941 to the late Catherine and Howard Carmichael. She graduated from Brownwood High School and attended Howard Payne University where she met and married David Calk on July 30, 1960.\r\n\r\nGlynda spent the last 50 years as a resident of Kerrville. She was a long-time member of First Presbyterian Church. She worked for many years with the Children's Corner Preschool Ministry. During that time, she met a loving and supportive group of women with whom she shared a lifelong friendship. She worked with the Kerrville Board of Realtors for 24 years and retired as the Executive Officer. On June 5, 1987 Glynda was wed to Cleburn Prinz. \r\n \r\nGlynda will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Paula Ray of Austin, and her son Terry Calk of Houston. Three granddaughters Erin Ray and Meagan Ray of Dallas and Kristen Ray of London, England. Son-in-law Ramone Ray of New Braunfels. Sisters Carol (Larry) Letbetter of San Saba, Ann Southerland of May, a niece, nephews and many friends.\r\n \r\nMemorial donations may be made in Glynda's name to the Children's Corner Preschool at First Presbyterian Church Kerrville.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
