Gerhard Gunther

Gerhard Paul Gunther, 85, of Pipe Creek, Tx, passed away on June 14, 2019 in San Antonio, Tx. He was born in Berlin, Germany to Guido Paul and Frieda Haberkorn Gunther on July 13, 1933. \r\n\r\nHe married Margrit Krause Gunther on May 24, 1954.\r\n\r\nHe worked as an electrician for Northside Independent School District. Gerhard and Margrit have lived at their residence in Pipe Creek since 1966.\r\n\r\nGerhard Gunther was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Albert Gunther.\r\n\r\nGerhard is survived by his wife of 65 years, Margrit Gunther and their two children; daughter, Silvia Dugosh and her husband, Dan and son, Robert Gunther and his wife, Kimberly. He is also survived by his two sisters, Ursula Haensel and Christa Biggs and her husband, Barry; grandchildren, Clifton Dugosh and wife, Renee, Travis Dugosh and wife Laurel, Shelby Gunther, Rebecca Uhouse and Harmony Uhouse; great grandchildren, Liam Dugosh and Everett Dugosh.\r\n\r\nA memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at Grimes Funeral Chapels. A reception will follow at St. Joseph Hall.\r\n\r\nMemorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Association to support others who suffer from the same disease that cut his life short.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
