George Oranday

George R. Oranday of Bandera, passed away unexpectedly on June 1, 2019 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born in Hondo, Texas to Pedro and Gloria Oranday on April 6, 1968. George married his loving wife, Sara Hernandez Oranday two years ago. \r\n\r\nHe is preceded in death by two sisters, both passing away in childhood, Patricia Oranday and Gracie Oranday.\r\n\r\nGeorge is survived by his wife, parents, a daughter, Faith Marie Parsons and husband, Travis; sons, Felix Oranday and wife Demetra, and George Austin Oranday; Sara's sons, Santiago Hernandez and Ceasar Ortiz, Jr. ; sister, Gracie Oranday and brother, Pete Oranday. He has 12 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.\r\n\r\nGeorge Oranday had a big heart and therefore, at the end of his life gave a gift of life through eye donation.\r\n\r\nVisitation will be Friday, June 7, 2019 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Grimes Funeral Chapels in Bandera, TX. followed by a Rosary at 6:00 pm. \r\n
