George McDonald Monk (answered to Mickey as a kid), age 91, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away September 28 2016 in a care facility in Bandera, Texas. \r\n\r\nMr. Monk, and Dorothy, his wife of 72 years, was a 30 year resident of Mico, Texas.\r\n\r\nBurial will be October 4, 11:15 AM, at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, Texas with a memorial service at a later date.\r\n\r\nFuneral arrangements are entrusted to Grimes Funeral Chapels of Bandera.
