Geneva Ione Dawe

Geneva lone Dawe, age 86, passed away peacefully at her home in Medina, Texas on January 25, 2024. 

She was born June 3, 1937, in Falfurrias, Texas. 

She was proceeded in death by her parent's, 4 sisters and her husband David Jefferson Dawe. She is survived by 1 brother and 6 children.

She was a grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She attended Stringtown Road Church of Christ in Medina, TX regularly as it was a source of guidance and strength throughout her lifetime. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing board games and cards. Crocheting and quitting were a big part of her life. She loved family gatherings, especially during the holidays. May the love she shared be a lasting source of comfort. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

There will be a graveside service at a later date for the family.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Grimes Bandera Funeral Chapel.
