Gene Raiford

On Saturday May 6, 2017, Gene Hagen Raiford went to our Lord. He was born October 8, 1934 in Hunt, Texas, where he had lived all of his life. Gene was a carpenter for his adult life. \r\n \r\nHe leaves behind his wife, Grace; a son, Aubrey and a daughter-in-law, Rae; four grandchildren, Samantha Grace, Travis Gene, Emily Anne, and Natalie Lynn; one sister, Margie Graham of Ingram; one niece, Karen Elizabeth and husband, Eric Mc Intush; two grand-nieces, Elizabeth and Erica Mc Intush; also four grand-nephews, Marcus, Garrison, Joel, and John David Morton. \r\n \r\nGene was preceded in death by his mother, Grace Jewel Morris Raiford; his dad, Aubrey Hagen Raiford; one sister, Joaquin; and two brothers, Rex Aubrey and Larry David Raiford. \r\n \r\nServices will be held at 2 PM, Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Grimes Funeral Chapels. Interment will follow at Hunt Japonica Cemetery.\r\n
