Gene Lippy

Gene William David Lippy, 38, of Bandera, passed away on February 22nd at his home in Bandera. He was born in Pasadena, Texas, to Gene Lippy and Dobbie Morris on June 2nd, 1984. Gene graduated from Bandera High School; he was well known for his enormous heart, contagious laugh, living his life the way he wanted and loving everyone for who they were. He was a loving son, brother, guncle (greatest uncle) and friend to so many.  Gene is survived by his father Gene Lippy and bonus mom Judie Lippy; bonus dad Wiley Slagle; brothers Jason Lippy and wife Meleese Lippy, Josh Lippy and wife Rebecca Lippy; sisters Shelli Muren and husband Daniel Muren; Krystin Olive and husband Justin Olive and Kortney Slagle and husband Christian Drey; and 12 nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandmother Kae Gimbel; Mother Dobbie Slagle; sister Connie Salinas and his canine companion Zena. This is not goodbye, but as Gene would say, beddledunk. We love you more, more, more.
