Gene Louis Dromgoole Jr., 62 of Junction, Texas passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 in Kerrville, Texas. He was born in San Antonio, Texas to Gene Louis Dromgoole Sr. and Lois Maxine Smith on October 12, 1954. He married Gloria Jean Welsch on June 6, 1986 in Houston, Texas.\r\n \r\nHe was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Lois; and loving wife of 25 years, Gloria.\r\n \r\nGene is survived by his four children, Michelle Beseda and husband, Jimmy of Montgomery, Texas, Dean Dromgoole and wife, Jayme of New Caney, Texas, Devra Thornburgh and husband, Jeff of Willis, Texas and Brandy Coffman and husband, Sam of Splendora, Texas; 10 grandchildren, Abigail Beseda, Ava Beseda, Bailey Dromgoole, Bradin Dromgoole, Brianna Taylor, Ty Thornburgh, Brylyn Thornburgh, Waylon Thornburgh, Riley Coffman and Rigby Coffman; 2 great grandchildren, Kamdynn Harcrow and Rankin Harcrow; brothers, Willie Dromgoole and wife, Kathy of Houston, Texas and Larry Dromgoole and wife, Christine of Houston, Texas; sisters, Oma Lou Dromgoole of Crockett, Texas and Marie Waneck and husband, Howard of Rosanky, Texas; and by his loving fiancee, Tracey Shelton of Goldthwaite, Texas.\r\n \r\nServices will be held at 10 AM, Friday, October 6, 2017 at St. James Lutheran Church in Harper, Texas officiated by Rev. Scott Hoffmann. Graveside services will be held 10 AM, Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Forest Park Westheimer in Houston, Texas. \r\n \r\nPallbearers will be Jimmy Beseda, Jeff Thornburgh, Sam Coffman, Edgar Finner, Norman Wright and Don Johnson. Jack Jones will serve as an Honorary Pallbearer.
