Gary Willmann

Dr. Gary L. Willmann, age 70 of Ingram, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017 at his residence. He was born July 21, 1946 in Seguin, Texas to Eugene Otto Willmann and Adelheid (duMenil) Willmann.\r\n \r\nHe served four years in the Navy, one year with the Marines and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. \r\n \r\nDr. Willmann was a veterinarian who graduated with honors. He practiced in San Antonio for 17 years and retired in 1998. He moved to Ingram in 2009.\r\n \r\nSurvivors include his wife of 50 years, Ann (Heimann) Willmann of Ingram; brothers, Dr. Don Willmann (Frances) of Fair Oaks, Texas and David Willmann (Judy) of Austin; brothers in law, Rick Heimann (Cece) and Jimmie Heimann (Angie), all of Kerrville; sister in law, Mary Heimann of Kerrville; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.\r\n \r\nPrivate services will be held at a later date.\r\n \r\nIn lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hill Country Memorial Hospital Hospice or to the Wildlife Rescue Rehabilitation in Kendalia.\r\n
