Gammon E. LeStourgeon of Boerne, Texas, passed away on August 30, 2017. He was born in San Antonio, Texas to Wallace and Dorothy LeStourgeon on February 20, 1942. \r\n\r\nGammon graduated from Medina High School in 1960. He was remembered for being quite the athlete and an all-star basketball player. He started his career following in his father's footsteps as a Mason quickly after high school and was self employed most of his life. \r\n\r\nHe was preceded in death by his father, Wallace and mother, Dorothy LeStourgeon, both of Medina, Texas.\r\n\r\nGammon is survived by his wife of 19 years, Jette Scott; his children, Craig LeStourgeon (Lica), Heath LeStourgeon (Ginger), Lance LeStourgeon, Bart LeStourgeon (LaCrecia), Jenna Desormeaux (Josh), and Jeff LeStourgeon; step-children, Kirsten Bates Scott, Jason Scott, Jennifer Scott, and Alison Milam; his siblings, Cecil LeStourgeon, David LeStourgeon (Floran), Alice Koenig (Donald), and Connie Sinclair (David); his beloved 24 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.\r\n\r\nNot a day went by that Gammon didn't focus on loving his family. He worked very hard and rarely took a day off. He never wasted a moment to brag on his grandchildren and was especially excited for any event he could attend to cheer them on. \r\n\r\nThe family would like to invite you to attend a Celebration of Life Memorial to be held on September 9, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Hill Country RV Resort and Event Center, located at 17740 TX-16, Medina, Texas, 78055.\r\n\r\nIn lieu of flowers, donations can be mailed to Medina Athletic Booster Club, P.O. Box 82, Medina, Texas 78055. Please include in the notes: "In honor of Gammon LeStourgeon".
