A. Frank Kubica of Kerrville, Texas, passed through heaven's gate Saturday morning September 30, 2017. He was 86 years old. Frank was born January 1, 1931 in Rosenberg, Texas to A.W. and Della Kubica. In 1976 in Midland, Texas he married Janice Branson, and they moved to the Hill Country when he retired.\r\n \r\nA graduate of University of North Texas, Frank was a CPA by profession and retired as CFO from Pioneer Natural Resources in Midland. He was an Army veteran and served in the Korean war. He enjoyed golfing and fishing and many other hobbies, but he mostly enjoyed his relationship with Jesus Christ and being able to spend time with his family each summer when great grandkids come and go to His Hill Church Camp in Comfort. Frank loved talking with each of them about knowing God's truth and felt blessed to be part of their young lives. He was a man of faith who loved his family and friends and will be greatly missed by them all.\r\n \r\nHe was preceded in death by his parents, A. W. and Della Kubica; a brother, Robert Kubica and his wife, Rose; his son, Don Hopper and his wife, Sheila; and daughter-in-law, Alicia Hopper.\r\n \r\nHe is survived by his wife, Janice; daughter, Nikki Kubica Wallace of Arlington; son, Gary Hopper of Kennedale; and daughter, Michelle Branson Dent (Hardy) of Kerrville; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.\r\n \r\nA memorial service will be held Monday, October 16, 2017, 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Baptist Church in Kerrville.\r\n \r\nMemorials may be made to the Salvation Army for the Harvey hurricane relief; also to Habitat for Humanity Kerrville, P.
