Frances Angelina (Aloisi) Wilkinson passed away Monday, April 17, 2017, at her home in Harper, Texas, with her sons and daughter-in-law at her side. \r\n \r\nShe was born April 14, 1932, in Benld, Illinois, to Guido and Lora (Sawyer) Aloisi. \r\n \r\nShe was a 1953 graduate of St. Joseph's Nursing School in Alton, Illinois, and worked as a Registered Nurse at several hospitals in the area. She was the founder and principal Instructor of the Bunker Hill (Illinois) Patriettes Baton Troupe. Fran was an active lifelong member of the Catholic church serving as the President of the Diocesan Council of Catholic Women and as a longstanding member of the Altar Society. She was also active as a Leader in the Girl Scouts of America.\r\n \r\nOn June 16, 1956, she married Harold William (Bill) Wilkinson of Alton, Illinois; he preceded her in death in January, 2017. Her immediate surviving family includes Mark (Tina) Wilkinson of Harper, Texas, and Scott (Kerry) Wilkinson of Wylie, Texas; grandchildren Anthony, Andrew (Danielle), and Alexis Wilkinson of the Dallas, Texas, area, and Blake Wilkinson of Hannibal, Missouri. She is also survived by her siblings Shirley Thompson of Hammond, Indiana, Judy (Jim) Patterson of Springfield, Illinois, and Guido (Anita Roberts) Aloisi of St. Peters, Missouri.\r\n \r\nInterment for both Bill and Fran will be at St. Norbert's Catholic Cemetery in Hardin, Illinois, on Saturday, May 6, at 10:00 a.m. Military honors will be observed. A funeral Mass will be celebrated the same day at 2:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Benld, Illinois. \r\n \r\nIn lieu of flowers, the Family requests that memorials and contributions be directed to St. Jude's Children's Hospital (800.306.1799).\r\n \r\nThe Family is most appreciative for the services of Dr. Klaus Schroeder, Dr. James Young, and Peterson Hospice with particular thanks to Jana, Lisa, Chaplain Matt, Harley, Aaron, Lynae, Cassie, Sylvia and Anita.
