Frances Jane Ferguson Dry, 84, of Kerrville passed away on March 12, 2017 in a Bandera care center. She was born in Enid, Oklahoma to Henry Salomon and Beulah Pearl Bazar Ferguson on June 15, 1932. She married Paul Gordon Dry on July 6, 1949 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. \r\n\r\nJane worked in food service for Servamation Vending Machines in San Antonio and the Bandera ISD cafeteria. Known as our "Granny", she was a homemaker, excellent cook, loving wife, mom, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Jane worked alongside her husband, Paul, as caretaker for Camp Sionito and many community service organizations such as Helping Hands, Spirits of Christmas, Meals on Wheels and other projects around Bandera and surrounding communities. She received numerous awards and recognition for her leadership and service. She loved Texas 4-H and truly enjoyed being a volunteer, project leader and working with people. She loved butterflies and buttons. \r\n\r\nJane is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Paul G. Dry, her parents, four of her sisters and four brothers. \r\n\r\nShe is survived by her son Eugene (Lana) Dry, her daughters Carmen Marie (Michael) Koch, and Euna Mae Wagner; her sister Lillian Mae Ferguson; grandchildren Christopher Dry, Kayla Dry, Lisa (Barry) Fohn, Jon (Kelly) Koch, Sherri (Robert) Stuart, Windy (Aaron) Rickmers, Cindy (Brad) Niemeyer, and Robert (Jackie) Wagner; great-grandchildren Lily Dry, Avery and Keaton Fohn, Brennan, Wyatt and Jessi Koch, Dalten, Blake and Caitlin Rickmers, Hayden Niemeyer, Keely and Kasen Wagner.\r\n\r\nA Visitation will be 9:30 Am to 10:30 AM, Friday, March 24, 2017 at Grimes Funeral Chapels of Bandera.\r\n\r\nFuneral services will be held 10:30 AM, Friday, March 24, 2017 at Grimes Chapel. Burial will follow at Oak Rest Cemetery.\r\n\r\nPallbearers are Robert Wagner, Jon Koch, Christopher Dry, Barry Fohn, Brad Niemeyer, and Mark Price. Services officiated by Steven Calloway and Paul McMillan. \r\n\r\n\r\n
