Frances Blair

Frances "Fran" Blair, age 81, of Kerrville, passed away Friday, July 17, 2015.\r\n\r\nShe was born in Kerrville to Richard and Laura Frances Bates Remschel on July 24, 1933. On June 18, 1960 she married Donald Vernon Blair, Sr. in Kerrville.\r\n\r\nShe was an educator and taught for 39 years. She was a member of the Texas Exes Alumni Association,\r\nand a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Kerrville.\r\n\r\nShe is preceded in death by her husband Donald, and her parents, who were affectionately known as "Dear and Punk." \r\n\r\nShe is survived by her sons, Donald V. Blair, Jr. and wife Michelle of Arlington, Texas and Richard A. Blair of Houston; Sister-in-law, Marianne Remschel of Ingram, two grandchildren, Donald V. Blair III and wife Jenny of Ft. Worth and Lila K. Blair of Houston; two step-grandchildren, Kahia Morrow and husband Louis of Mansfield, Texas and Kendra Hoover and husband Jim of Arlington, Texas, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.\r\n \r\nVisitation will be held 5-7 PM Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville. Funeral Services will be at 10 AM Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville officiated by Rev. Rob Lohmeyer. Interment will follow at Glen Rest Cemetery.\r\n\r\nIn lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Henry H.
