Florencio Villanueva "Lencho" Ybarra, of Kerrville, Texas, passed away Monday, June 27, 2016. He was born in Uvalde, Texas, to Porfirio and Luisa Ybarra on Feb. 9, 1959.\r\n\r\nHe went to school at Notre Dame Catholic School and graduated from Lee College, receiving his Associates of Science. He worked as a chef for many years; it was a passion of his. He went on to be a craftsman. He was a man of many trades, putting his heart into whatever it was he decided to do. His family was most important to him.\r\n\r\nFlorencio was preceded in death by his brother, Alex Ybarra; and his parents, Porfirio and Luisa Ybarra.\r\n\r\nFlorencio is survived by his children, Nicole Ybarra, Stephanie Ybarra Casarez, Salvador Ybarra, Valarie Murphy, and the long lost child, Samantha. He also is survived by his brother, Eloy Ybarra. He carried on a father's role to his brother Alex's children, Patricia, Alex and Cynthia. His grandchildren are Mariah, Kristen, Shaylene, Arielle, Brendon, Kiarah, Hayden, Gabby, Avery, Emma, Adalyn, Ryken and another girl on the way.\r\n\r\nFuneral services will be at 6:30 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2016, at Grimes Funeral Chapels, preceding pending burial at Mountain View Cemetery.\r\n\r\nMemorials may be given to Sozo Home in care of Impact Christian Fellowship.\r\n
