Felipe Lopez

Felipe Ernesto Lopez, age 82 of Kerrville, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2015. He was born November 7, 1933 in Kerrville to Julian and Antonia (Ramos) Lopez.\r\n \r\nHe was a hard worker and was retired owner of Lopez Bros. Construction Company. One of his strong attributes was his work ethic. His hobbies included fishing, watching sports and had a love of dancing. He was a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church.\r\n \r\nHe was preceded in death by his wife, Herlinda Lopez in 2013; two sons, Julian Lopez and Joe Lopez; and one daughter, Rachael Lopez.\r\n \r\nSurvivors include daughters, Irma Tucker and husband, James of Bulverde and Gloria Lopez of Corpus Christi; sister, Sista Davila of Kerrville; brothers, Lorenzo Lopez, Tony Lopez, Ignacio Lopez and Raymond Lopez, all of Kerrville. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, whom he loved very much.\r\n \r\nRecitation of the Holy Rosary will be 6 PM, Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Grimes Funeral Chapels.\r\n \r\nMass of Christian Burial will be 1:30 PM, Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Notre Dame Catholic Church with Monsignor Mike Boulette as celebrant. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.\r\n \r\nIn lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Notre Dame Catholic Church.\r\n
