Eva Jo Brown, of Kerrville, Texas, passed away Wednesday October 5th, 2016 at the age of 70.\r\n \r\nEva Jo was born in Pampa, Texas, on September 27, 1946 to Calvin and Bennie Duncan. She barrel raced throughout her teen years and attended Pampa High School where she made varsity basketball her freshman year and played till she graduated in 1965. She soon after began a family with Larry Brown in Skellytown, Texas where she raised her two sons, William and Joe Don Brown. After her sons graduated high school, she moved to Waxahachie, Texas to further her art career and lived there until 2013 when she moved to the Texas Hill Country to be closer to her family and grandchildren. \r\n \r\nShe had a passion for her art, ceramics and leather work. She had a soft spot for all animals, especially horses and wolves; they are what truly made her heart happy. She enjoyed trail riding, dancing and singing along with music, walks with her corgi Annie and watching her grandson play sports. She was a fun, loving, thoughtful and caring woman of God. She will be remembered as always being happy and able to put a smile on anyone's face.\r\n \r\nEva Jo is survived by son, William Brown; son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Julie Brown; her five grandchildren, Shyla and husband, Dennis Long, Brynn Brown, Rylee Brown, Raegan Brown and Dalton Brown; sister, Ann Echols; and nephew, John Echols, along with many cousin, uncles, aunts and friends.\r\n \r\nMemorial Services will be held in Bandera, Texas at Ridin' the River Cowboy Fellowship on November 5, 2016 at 11 AM. \r\n
