Memorial services for Eula Mae Fifer, who passed away December 14, 2019, will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Grimes Funeral Chapels. \r\n\r\nEula Mae Fifer, life long resident of Kerrville, Texas, born October 5, 1930 to parents, Willie Eugene and Rozella Washington Fifer, passed away recently while staying with family in San Antonio, Texas, the youngest daughter of 8 children.\r\n\r\nConfessed a belief in Jesus Christ at an early age in her life, was baptized a member of Barnett Chapel United Methodist Church where she was a member of the choir until her health started to fail. Eula was a strong, hard working person who worked at the Kerrville State Hospital for many years until her retirement. She was raised and educated in Kerrville and attended Doyle High School.\r\n\r\nShe was a fun loving and caring person who enjoyed fishing, loved to dance and listening to her music. Family gatherings at the big house always brought so much joy and happiness to her.\r\n\r\nShe was preceded in death by both parents, Willie and Rozella Fifer; three sisters, Willie Mae Benson, Mae Bell Benson, and Vesta Parker; four brothers, Cecil Fifer, Earnest Fifer, Melvin Fifer and Clifford Fifer.\r\n\r\nShe leaves to mourn her passing five children: daughter, Rozella (husband Ollie) of San Antonio; son, Willie Charles (wife Joyce) of San Antonio; son, Silas of Kerrville; daughter, Jeanette of San Antonio; daughter, Brenda of Las Vegas, Nevada; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends. \r\n\r\nMother, you will be dearly missed...Gone but not forgotten.
