Emma Norwood

Emma Gene Smith Norwood, age 93 of Marion, TX, passed away Thursday, December 25, 2014 in a Seguin, TX care center. She was born August 16, 1921 in Paris, TX to Claude James Smith and Delphia (Boughier) Smith. On October 6, 1942, she married Wilson B. Norwood in Boerne, TX. He preceded her in death on August 14, 2006. She was also preceded in death by daughter, Loretta Turner on November 9, 2006.\r\n \r\nShe is survived by son, Kenneth Eugene Norwood and wife, Jimmie Lee Norwood of Marion, TX; son in law, Meron Turner of Kerrville; sister, Audrey Zumwalt and husband, Bobby of Kerrville; grandchildren, Sonya Hooten, Linda Schmidt, Susan Lawrence, Kenneth Eugene Norwood II, Clu Wilson Norwood and Brandy Sharp; 10 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.\r\n \r\nVisitation will be held Sunday, December 28, 2014, 4-6 PM at Grimes Funeral Chapels.\r\n \r\nServices will be held Monday, December 29, 2014, 10 AM at Grimes Funeral Chapels, officiated by Rev.
