Emily Reynolds Clark, 81, passed away Friday, January 1, 2016, at her home in Kerrville, Texas. She was born January 3, 1934 in Washington, DC, to Crispin Carlton and Emma Katherine (Morgenweck) Reynolds. She married William Kenneth Clark, her High School love, on August 6, 1960 in Washington, DC.\r\n \r\nEmily graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in Washington, DC., attended Sullins College in Bristol, Virginia and Wilson Teachers College in Washington, DC. She majored in journalism. Emily worked in advertising, scheduling, and on camera as a weather reporter and fill in guest on the Art Lamb show on Dumont Television station WTTG (Channel 5) in Washington, DC.\r\n \r\nThe greatest joy in her life was her daughter, grand children and great grandchildren. She enjoyed reading and traveled to Europe, North Africa and North, South and Central America.\r\n \r\nEmily was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Mary C. Reynolds.\r\n \r\nShe is survived by her husband, William K. Clark of Kerrville, daughter, Katherine C. Van Dyke and husband, Adrian W. Van Dyke of Fulshear, Texas, grandchildren, Adrian Crispin Van Dyke of Lafayette, Louisiana, Katherine Van Dyke Ceballos and husband, Alan Ceballos of Kerrville, Great grandchildren, Cole Vidrine of Ville Platte, Louisiana, Adrian Clyde Van Dyke of Lafayette, Louisiana, and Alan Clark Ceballos of Kerrville.\r\n \r\nMemorial services will be held at a future date.\r\n \r\nMemorials may be given to Peterson Hospice, First Presbyterian Church of Kerrville or your charity of choice.
