Ella Lee Dinsmore, 71 of Ingram, Texas passed away May 4,2019 in a Kerrville hospital with her family at her side. Ella was born November 4, 1947 in Missouri Valley, Iowa to Leo and Darlene Torgeson. She was one of four children with three sisters, Leia, Angie and Connie. \r\n\r\nShe was survived by three sons, Brian Arthur Dinsmore of Logan, Iowa and his wife Kebra, Wayne Dinsmore of Omaha, Nebraska, Gregory Lee Dinsmore of Kerrville, Texas and his wife Candace; her 11 grandchildren: Wayne's children-Danny Dinsmore of Kentucky, Levi Dinsmore of Ingram, Jeff Brown of Nebraska, Jesse Brown of Iowa, Mikalya of Iowa, Misty of Iowa, Wyatt of Nebraska; Greg's children-Shelby Dinsmore of Center Point, Texas, Logan, Cameron and Mackenzie Dinsmore of Kerrville, Texas; her 4 great-grandchildren, Kenzie Elizabeth of Harper, Texas (Danny), Brendan and Braden (Levi), Ian Brown of Iowa (Jesse); her sisters, Angela Torgeson Conyers, Connie Crispin and Leia Johnsen \r\n\r\nShe was predeceased by her parents, Leo and Darlene Torgeson; her mother and father-in-law, Pete and Lola Dinsmore; her sister-in-law, Charlene Branstetter; her husband, Jerry; and by her beloved dogs, Cody, Petey and Molly.\r\n\r\nElla married Jerry on May 1, 1965 in Logan, Iowa and they had three boys, Brian, Wayne and Greg. Ella was a dedicated mother to her boys and a loving wife to Jerry. She was the neighborhood mom, an animal lover and was known to have all kinds of God's creatures nursed back to health with her loving touch. \r\n\r\nShe went with Jerry while he drove truck over the road, she worked for Greg and Candace in their business. She contributed to many successful businesses and anywhere she worked, she gave 110%. She joyously spent many of her years raising her boys and her grandchildren. \r\n\r\nThey lived in Iowa, California and returned to Iowa. They retired to their home in Ingram, Texas.\r\n\r\nElla's hobbies included cooking, sewing, gardening, going to car shows with Jerry and her sons, renovating homes, decorating and designing, wood working and so many more crafts. \r\n\r\nJerry and Ella had a love like no other. They were always together and if apart for any short time, it was the sweetest reunion. They were together driving truck over the road and in all of their adventures. Ella was the love of Jerry's life and she was his. On their 50th anniversary, Jerry wanted to surprise his beautiful bride with a vow renewal. It was a beautiful ceremony of love and strength. Theirs is a love that will live on forever.\r\n\r\nServices will be held at 2 PM, Friday, May 10, 2019 at Grimes Funeral Chapels officiated by Bill Ragsdale. Interment will follow at Nichols Cemetery.
