Elizabeth "Bitsy" Woods\r\n\r\nOn the early morning of November 14, 2015, Bitsy passed away peacefully of natural causes. Bitsy was being visited and comforted by friends and family members at Alpine Terrace Nursing Home in Kerrville, Texas. At the time of her passing, she was 79 years old. \r\n\r\nBitsy was born in Washington D.C. at the Columbia Hospital for Women at 4:32 am on March 11, 1936 with her identical twin, Bonnie Campbell. They were the oldest children of Elizabeth and Arthur Campbell of Fredericksburg, Maryland.\r\n\r\nBitsy graduated from high school and went on to nursing school where she completed her training for her lifelong occupation. She married Arthur Roy Woods III on April 15, 1964. They lived most of their lives in Copperas Cove, Texas.\r\n\r\nHer passions included folk music, literature of all types, and her painting. An accomplished artist, her award-winning paintings were featured at showings and galleries across Texas, including the annual Salado Historic Art Fair, Central Texas College Art Gallery, Vive Les Arts Societe of Killeen and the Hill Country Arts Foundation Visual Arts Center.\r\nBitsy was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church of Copperas Cove, Texas and belonged to the Outpost Recovery Club of Ingram, Texas.\r\n\r\nBitsy was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur; her brother, Timothy and her twin sister Bonnie.\r\n\r\nShe is survived by her sister, Florence, and her brother, Tucker, as well as her sons, Walter and William and their families.\r\nHer final resting place will be with her husband at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery near Fort Hood, Texas following a private family service.\r\n\r\nSpecial thanks to the wonderful and caring staff at River Point Senior Living, Alpine Terrace Rehabilitation Center and Peterson Hospice.\r\n\r\nIn lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to the Outpost Recovery Club of Ingram, Texas, P.O.
