Elbert Boullioun Jr.

Elbert H. "Eb" Boullioun Jr. passed away Friday, August 5, 2016. He was 90 years young.\r\n \r\nEb was born in Tahoka, TX on November 18, 1925. After graduating high school in 1943, he briefly served in the Navy during WWII.\r\n \r\nHe graduated (several times) from the University of Texas in Austin. After completing a business degree, Eb earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering - his passion in life. He started and ended his Engineering career with American Petrofina. His career included stops in Big Spring, TX, Calumet City, IL, Port Arthur, TX, and finally Kerrville, TX, where he retired.\r\n \r\nUpon retirement, Eb spent countless hours working for Habitat for Humanity. He helped build homes, and he served on the Habitat Board many times over the years.\r\n \r\nEb was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Kerrville.\r\n \r\nHe is survived by his other passion in life, his wife Anna Clair Waters Boullioun. They were married 67 years and counting. Other surviving family members include son, Elbert O. Boullioun of Kerrville, TX ; son, Samuel W. and Dr. Susan Boullioun of McQueeney, TX; brother-in-law, Dr. Sam and Lee Waters of Dallas; grandson, Ryan and Michelle Boullioun of Seguin, TX; great grandsons, James and Luke.\r\n \r\nMemorial services will be held 2 PM, Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at First United Methodist Church in Kerrville, officiated by Rev. Donna Magee.\r\n \r\nPlease send any memorials to Habitat for Humanity.\r\n
