Elaine Villanueva, age 54 passed away Saturday, August 5, 2017 in a San Antonio hospital. She was born July 30, 1963 in San Antonio, Texas to Ismael Villanueva and Carolina Ramos Villanueva.\r\n\r\nElaine was a life resident of Bandera, Texas and a graduate of Bandera High School. She served the area as a cashier at Lowes and Walmart in Kerrville and for many years as a cashier at Lowes in Bandera. She was a parishoner at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church.\r\n\r\nSurvivors include her mother, Carolina Villanueva; daughters, Desiree and Sierra Venzor; sisters, Dolores Potts, Chayo Sanchez, Irene Florez and Elisa Emerson; several nieces and nephews including Shannon Benavidez, Diana Beauchamp, Jessica Garza, Michael Garza, Melissa Sanchez, Casey Sanchez, Carlos Martinez, Trista Florez, John Florez, Michael Anthony Martinez, Vanessa Rodriguez, Monica Duarte and Cruz Jose Duarte as well as many great nieces and nephews and loving extended family members.\r\n\r\nThe family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 PM Friday, August 11, 2017 at Grimes Funeral Chapels of Bandera with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 12, 2017at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church with interment to follow at the new Catholic Cemetery.
