Edward Franks

Edward "Eddie" Hunter Franks, 79, of Mountain Home, TX passed away October 28, 2014 in Kerrville, TX. He was born in Cheneyville, LA to Wilbur and Bessie Lillian Huffman Franks on January 16, 1935. He married Teena Marie Landry on June 21, 1985 in Tioga, LA.\r\n \r\nEddie became a painter later in his life after a career in offshore drilling. He also spent many years as a pro wrestler. He was very active in his church and never met a stranger.\r\n \r\nHe was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Bessie Franks; brothers, JB, Alvis, Herman and Robert Franks; sister, Emily; sons, Kevin and Michael Todd; and daughter, Michelle Renee.\r\n \r\nEddie is survived by his wife, Teena Marie Landry Franks of Mountain Home, TX; daughter, Regina Franks of Natchitoches, LA; son, Jeff Franks of Natchitoches, LA; son, Eddie James Franks of Pineville, LA; daughter, Kim Franks of Shreveport, LA; sister, Jane Henderson of Dallas, TX; brother, Joel Franks of Lonepine, LA; sister, Betty Joe Franks of Florida; 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.\r\n \r\nMemorial services will be at a later date.\r\n \r\nEddie's family wishes to express their sincere thanks to Dr. McDowell, Dr. James Young, Davita Dialysis Center, Peterson Regional Medical Center and Peterson Hospice staff for all the support given to him and to us during this time.\r\n\r\n[contact-form-7 id="73" title="Send Condolences"]
