Edward Harrison Baker, Jr., age 85 of Ingram, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2020 in a Kerrville hospital.\r\n\r\nApril 1, 2020, today at 12:25 AM, was our 53rd anniversary of when we met.\r\n\r\nWrote earlier on March 31, 2020: \r\nTomorrow is the day I met the man that God put in my life even if I didn't know it at the time; the Daddy of my kids; the dream man I walk beside each day. What can I say? On April Fool's Day, I met this man 53 years ago; love him and the wonderful man he has become in my life and want to share as many years as possible with him. I pray that God allows this in His only son Jesus Christ's name. Love him and his kindness, the thoughtful ways he does little things for me that are huge in my heart. He makes my coffee. Some wonderful cook he is which we take time about but I am the cleanup girl, dishes are not his thing. That is okay with me; he is not perfect but he is perfect to me. I love him forever.\r\n\r\nMy hubby, Edward Baker, which I called for years Little Eddie Baker Jr. We have six children together - one deceased and five living: our joy, our babies: \r\n\r\nEddie Baker III/Cindy \r\nFrances Kay Baker Sherman (deceased)/Larry \r\nRobert Andrew Elledge/Andy/Sevelana \r\nHenry Baker/Cynthia\r\nWilliam Alfred Baker/Bill Baker/Amy\r\nMary Louise Baker/Mary I Foy/Chris\r\n\r\nAnd our joy is the mates they gave us and grandbabies and great, too many to name.\r\n\r\nHe always said, "Once a Marine, always a Marine" and if he had to do it all over again, he wouldn't change a thing.
