Edna Mae Fry, of Kerrville, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Hilltop Village Nursing Home in Kerrville, Texas. She was born in Holly Ridge, NC to Andrew Devon Ennett Sr. and Addie Florence (Taylor) Ennett on December 11, 1925. She married Harry Dean Fry on January 2, 1946 in Holly Ridge.\r\n \r\nShe went to school at Holly Ridge where she graduated as Valedictorian of her class. She was active in the Rebekah Lodge (Oddfellows Women's Auxiliary) in Walkerton. She worked in sales in Indiana and Texas then ended her career as a receptionist at a bank in Houston, Texas.\r\n \r\nEdna Fry was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Dean Fry, her parents, Andrew Devon and Addie Ennett, her brother A. D. Ennett Jr. and her second husband, Omer H. Fry.\r\n \r\nEdna is survived by her daughter Edna Jean (Barry) Reed, her grandsons, Jeffery Alan Reed and David Fry Reed, her great-granddaughters, Delaney Nicole Reed and Amaya Elisabeth Reed, her brother Nathaniel Thomas (Doris) Ennett along with many nieces and nephews in the Walkerton/Indiana area.\r\n \r\nVisitation will be from 5-7 PM, Friday, April 21, 2017 at Grimes Funeral Chapels.\r\n \r\nFuneral services will be held 10 AM, Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Grimes Funeral Chapels, with the Rev. Chris Christopherson officiating. An additional service will be held at the Neusbaum/Elkins Funeral Home in Walkerton before burial at Woodlawn Cemetery in Walkerton, Indiana.\r\n \r\nMemorials may be given to the Special Opportunity Center, 200 S Lemos St., Kerrville, Texas. The family of Edna Fry wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Hilltop Village and Peterson Hospice for the dedicated care they provided to our loved one in the last years of her life.\r\n
