Ed Clayton Lynch, Jr. died two days before his 96th birthday on June 1, 2021 at home in Ingram, Texas. He was born in San Antonio, Texas to Edith Hightower and Major General Edmund C. Lynch on June 3, 1925. He married Joanne Lynch on January 3, 2007 in Hoschton, Georgia. He served in the military from 1943 until his discharge in 1946 and was awarded numerous medals. Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Edith Hightower and Major General Edmund C. Lynch; his first wife, Ina Mac Lynch; and his second wife, Peggy Collins Lynch. Ed is survived by his wife, Joanne; his beloved children, Beau Farr, Starr Farr and Pam Cochran; grandchildren, Johanna Farr, Nicholas Robb and Emily Farr; and cousins, Alice Lynch and Raymond Lynch. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, June 17th at St. Peter's Episcopal Church with Father Bert Baetz and Father Mike Wheeler officiating.
