Dorothy Smith

Dorothy Marché Smith was born November 12, 1929 in Harper, Texas to parents, Ben and Ella Thomas.\r\n \r\nShe was called home by her Redeemer and Savior Jesus Christ on May 21, 2016. \r\n \r\nDorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Ella Thomas; her husband, R.W. Smith; as well as her siblings, Lelia Parker, Lorene "Pat" Parker, Florence Brandon, and Forrest "Sonny" Thomas.\r\n \r\nShe is survived by her children, Anthony J. Smith of Austin, Troy and wife Michele Smith of Kerrville, and Deborah Sha Peterson of Seattle, WA; grandchildren, Joshua and wife Molly Smith, Rachel and husband Mike Reddell, Sarah and husband Garret Gelker, Luke and wife Heather Smith, and Eric and wife Tricia Smith; and 11 beautiful great-grandchildren.\r\n \r\nShe was a member of Grace Bible Chapel.\r\n \r\nServices will be held 2 PM, Friday, May 27, 2016 at Grimes Funeral Chapels with Paul Kehner officiating the service. \r\n\r\nIn lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.\r\n
