Dorothy Shelton

Dorothy Irene Shelton, 95, of Bandera, passed away on Feb. 2, 2015 in Bandera. She was born in Dallas Center, Iowa, to Roy and Leota March on Nov. 28, 1919. She married Roderick William Shelton on Oct. 10, 1941 in Bakersfield, CA.\r\n\r\nShe was a member of the Eastern Star and Elks Lodge. She retired in 2004 to Bandera from Santa Maria, CA.\r\n\r\nDorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Roderick William Shelton who died in October of 2013.\r\n\r\nDorothy is survived by her daughter, Sharon Clark and husband, Gary of Pipe Creek; grandchildren, Kimberly Clark-Prescott and husband Kenny of Pipe Creek, Aaron Hudson of Bandera; and great granddaughter, Sterling Clark.\r\n\r\nGraveside services will be held at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 9:15 a.m. with Pastor Dave Busby officiating.\r\n\r\n[contact-form-7 id="73" title="Send Condolences"]
