Dorothy Louise Scales\r\n\r\nDorothy Louise Scales, 92, of Bandera, passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2018 in Bandera. She was born in Luling, Texas to Nettie and Joel Brewer on July 6, 1926. She Married Harold Lee Scales on June 6, 1944 in Pecos, Texas.\r\n\r\nDorothy and Harold became a part of the Bandera community when they moved here from San Antonio in 1991. She was a giving and generous person and had many friends in Bandera. She was a wonderful cook and was well known for her wholesome meals. Dorothy was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.\r\n\r\nShe is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 68 years Harold Lee Scales; grandchildren, Brandy Burra and Jenny Scales. Dorothy is survived by her 4 children, Patsy Schindle, Pamela Imoff, Todd Scales and Glenn Scales; grandchildren, Corby Allbright, Jonathan Burra, Maggie Schindle, Kristi Kristinek, Cody Scales and Jacob Scales; great grandchildren, Jeremy Schindle, Zach Allbright, Ty Allbright and luke Kristinek. \r\n\r\nA Visitation will be Sunday, December 2, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Grimes Funeral Chapels of Bandera followed by the Funeral at 2:00 PM, Rev. Dennis Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at a later date.\r\n\r\nMemorials may be given to the charity of your choice.
