Dora Mae Wheatfall, age 91 of Kerrville, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2016. She was born April 6, 1925 in Brazoria County to Mason Woodard Sr. and Paralee (Bell) Woodard.\r\n \r\nDora was a homemaker and member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. She loved her church and loved her family.\r\n \r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Barbara Woodard; and son, James Lee Woodard.\r\n \r\nSurvivors include husband, Rudolph Wheatfall Sr. of Kerrville; daughter, Dian Wheatfall Jackson (Val) of Houston; sons, Robert Woodard (Carlyn) of Houston, Milton Sidney (Liz) of Cedar Lane and Rudolph Wheatfall Jr. (Gloria) of Kerrville; brother in law, Bobby Wheatfall (Dorothy) of Arkansas; numerous grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.\r\n \r\nServices will be held 10 AM, Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Grimes Funeral Chapels officiated by Pastor Noah Diggs. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories North Cemetery.\r\n \r\nIn lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Olive Baptist Church.\r\n \r\n
