Donald Kent Stewart Sr., age 84 of Mountain Home, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at his residence. He was born September 22, 1934 in Archer County, Texas to Otha and Ennard Stewart. He married Shirley Ruth Aderholt on November 10, 1990 in Fredericksburg, Texas.\r\n \r\nDon went to school at Iowa Park High School. He worked as a frameman for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for 40 years. He was a veteran of the Korean War and received a Good Conduct Medal during the Korean Conflict.\r\n \r\nDon is survived by his wife of 28 years, Shirley R. Stewart; children, Betsy and husband Jeff Steele, Tony and wife Irene Patterson, George and wife Marilyn Stewart, Tamrah and husband Kenneth Ruth and Jennifer and husband Michael Blake; brother, Jack Stewart; sister, Jo Coates; grandchildren, Eddie Stewart, Bryan Stewart, Michael Stewart, Zach Stewart, Bill Aske, Phillip Aske, Balee Salinas, Brandi Mercer, Troy Bynom, Brandy Bynom, JC Stewart, Brittany Mercer, Tracy Patterson, Gabe Steele and Henry Blake; great-grandchildren, Destiny, Tyra, Annistan, Jackson, Mia, Kaley, Cheyenne, Grayson, Kenzlie, Riley, Cooper, Bella, Chastin, Ruthie, Leo, Brantley, Dalton and Caleb.\r\n \r\nMemorial services will be held at 11 AM, Monday, November 19, 2018 at Calvary Temple Church officiated by Pastor Del Way.\r\n \r\nDon's family would like to thank Dr. Robert Mitchell MD, Jennifer Cooper RN, Emily Witt RN, Peterson Regional Medical Center 3 West Staff, and the Peterson Acute Rehab Unit nurses and therapy staff.\r\n
