Donald Ray Burris, Jr, 41, of Bandera, passed away on May 18, 2015 in Bandera. He was born in San Antonio, Texas to Donald and Karen Burris on December 28, 1973.\r\n\r\nDonald lived at the Cedar Creek Care Center where he loved to greet people at the doors as they came in to visit their loved ones. He was a faithful member of Twin Lakes Ind. Baptist Church and enjoyed going to church. When Donald wasn't in church he was especially fond of Disneyworld and was able to go 5 times. He enjoyed animated movies and watched his many dvds. Donald also found the parades including Fiesta and Flambeau Parades in San Antonio entertaining.\r\n\r\nDonald is preceded in death by his father, Donald Ray Burris, Sr. who passed away in 2009.\r\n\r\nHe is survived by his mother, Karen Burris of Bandera; sisters, Theresa Wilkerson (Jeff Sr.) of Bandera, Jeannette Jeffers (Bill) of Bandera; nephews, Jeff Wilkerson, Jr. (Cara) and great niece, Kinley, Justin Wilkerson (Melissa) and great nephew, Owen; uncles, Chip Needels of New Mexico, Keith and Wayne, both of San Antonio, Texas.\r\n\r\nVisitation is Friday, 2PM - 3PM, May 22, 2015 at Twin Lakes Ind. Baptist Church with the service to begin at 3PM, with Pastor Alan W. Otten will officiate. Interment will follow at Bandera Cemetery.\r\n\r\nPallbearers will be Justin Wilkerson, Jeff Wilkerson, Jr., Martin Jeffers, Bobby Wilkerson, Grady Desmuke and Jimmy Brown.\r\n\r\n[contact-form-7 id="73" title="Send Condolences"]
