Donald Badeaux Iii

Donald Richard Badeaux, III, was born on April 17, 1992 in Kerrville, Texas. He was lifted to orchestrate with the angels in Heaven on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at his home in Los Fresnos, Texas at the age of 23. He is known by his family and close friends as "Poppy". \r\n\r\nDonald's family moved to Los Fresnos in 1997 when he was only five. He graduated from Los Fresnos High School, class of 2010. He had a passion for music and began playing guitar at the early age of 12. Throughout his teenage years and early twenties, Donald initiated garage bands including Unit 527, Spiral Fire, Kane & Abel, Mystical Creatures Band, and Onion Ring, performing in cities across the valley. He enjoyed playing lead guitar and singing lead vocals. He composed and recorded his own music and became a true artist. \r\n\r\nDonald is survived by his parents; Don and Debra Badeaux, maternal grandparents; Consuelo and Ramon Dominguez of Center Point, Texas, Ernest and Cecilia Garza of Kerrville, Texas, maternal great grandparents; Antonio and Maria Pruneda, great grandmother; Maria Garza, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Don, Sr. and Dorothy Badeaux of Los Fresnos, Texas.\r\n\r\nVisitation will be held at Saint Cecilia Catholic Church on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 from 2-9 p.m. with the recitation of the holy rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral mass will be Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 10 a.m. Services are under the guidance of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory.
