Dolores Hill

Mrs. Dolores G. "Dodie" Hill, age 83 of Kerrville, TX passed away Monday, September 19, 2016 in Kerrville care center. She was born on April 2, 1933 in Llano, TX to Luther Jacob West and Nora Reeves West. She married Gordon Finley "Don" Hill on July 16, 1949 in Fredericksburg, TX. \r\n \r\nDodie was a retired teller for Wells Fargo Bank.\r\n \r\nShe was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She belonged to the Bowling Club and traveled with that organization. She was into crafts and was known in Kerrville for her Christmas decorations. She and her husband, Don had a combo band that they played in for many years.\r\n \r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Don Hill and son, Cody Hill.\r\n \r\nShe is survived by a nephew, Tommy West of San Antonio, TX and niece, Pamela Nelson of Llano, TX.\r\n \r\nA visitation will be held on Friday, September 23, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Grimes Funeral Chapels.\r\n \r\nGraveside services will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Garden of Memories Cemetery with Rev. Chris Christopherson officiating.
